After the proposal we were swept away by our photographers for a follow up newly engaged photoshoot! I was elated over the events of the evening but was hesitant because of the heat, and humidity. Luckily we had an awesome photographer that was able to photograph us to minimize the beads of sweat and frizzy hair fly-aways!

Can you believe this unbelievable scenery? I love how spanish moss blankets the city of Savannah creating this fairytale ambiance.
If you've ever been to Savannah you know the old brick streets are framed with enormous homes. A lot of these homes have been converted into southern bed and breakfasts kissed with charm. I believe this home was a hotel or at least I hope it was… otherwise that would explain all the startled people looking out the windows at strangers standing on their porch. If they saw these pictures though, all would be forgiven! :)
Not the most poised of expressions but I have to admit, this is me.
I feel very happy, content and safe in Matt's arms. He is the epitome of an old-fashioned gentleman. Chivalrous, honorable and most of all, kind are words that simply skim the top surface of Matt's benevolent personality.
The Goods! Matt chose this gorgeous emerald cut diamond and it is so much more than I could have ever dreamt or hoped for. However, truthfully, Matt is the most important gem in my life because he's the only one!
Sniped! I was saluting the photographer as a means of saying thank you and she caught this candid moment of my overjoyed self.
